What specific aluminum servo arm is being used?

I am only 13 years old. I think old RC cars are better because they are more fun and since you build them, you have a special place in your heart for them.

I'll keep my XMAXX, It's just a fun RC truck. I'll upgrade it as I use it.

I am new to the RC World. I have been buying some used remote control vehicles. I just bought a Snap On amphibious vehicle and there was no remote control. I bought a digital universal remote control that states that it will eventually grab the frequency and it will control the vehicle. Where can I buy this equipment that I can change to make my remotes work for any RC vehicle?

Honestly the Ultimate version over your guys chosen upgrades is still the better way to go lol.

Holy cow you guys spent almost $400 and the only worth while upgrade was the servo and rear Hub carriers. Mod 1.5 gears would have been a great upgrade along with Aluminum diff covers and ring and pinion shims. Its kinda obvious you guys dont use the Xmaxx often considering you made yoyr furat Xmaxx video a year or so ago.

Those fromt RPM hibs are horrible. Best to fet rpm rear And XRT fronts. The pins pop out constantly on the rpm front carriers

Note that if tour ESC has a "soft" turn on switch this won't turn it back on when reconnected.

THAT BANDIT WAS QUICK, I GOT THAT WHEN I WAS LIKE 10 YEARS OLD, IN IT'S TIME IT WAS FAR ABOVE ANY OTHER "STORE-BOUGHT RC" AND THE FAST TRAXX WAS QUICK TOO...IMO

It does seem to oversteer a bit, I don’t know if that’s tuneable, I don’t think the real thing does that. Cool RC

XRTs are nice but upgrading an X-Maxx is the best. There are a lot of good upgrades for the X-Maxx and the XRT. My X-Maxx is all VITAVON upgraded, even the chassis but it was way more money than stock trucks. I have 3 X-Maxx 1 almost stock, 1 half upgraded and 1 fully upgraded. They are all amazing.

Doesn’t the connection between the battery’s xt60 and the IC3 make up a point of failure?

Brett i think? This guy is probably the best reviewer on RUclips. Dude is actually intelligent which is rare for people in the hobby lol. Also knows when to take things seriously and when not to. Its cool Amain makes videos like this. Had an mt410 kit i built with top quality parts 3 years ago. I sold it after driving it for 5 minutes...it was too nice and felt like a race machine. For my neanderthal antics the kraton and talion i had made more sense 😆

Building the kits in the 80s and early 90s was so much fun. It really helped to learn all the parts, and quickly identify where you wanted upgrades. It would be nice if modern cars could come with everything as they do now, but be a kit that you had to build yourself. The magazines were really cool as well, then again, there were a lot of cool mags in the 80s and 90s.

That's a real nice looking rig but it kind of blows my mind there's a market for people who want to spend a thousand bucks completing an awesome truck just to go destroy it

sick driving and you guys got same crazy shots! The one thing i don't like, is needing to (over)use the droop screws to keep the dogbones in. I'd like to keep the stance high but then again, i noticed that most popular bashers have pretty straight angles on the wheel vs driveshaft vs diff angles. The cars that do have lots of angle seem to have diffcup/driveshaft issues. Is this simply the tradeoff or are there exceptions?

I’ve got 9 rc cars, only a couple are broken. I’ve been pushing it off for about a year because of life. Moving, getting married etc. but I’ve just recently gotten them off the shelves of started wrenching on them. Doing a massive overhaul on my UDR for a super scale build (shelf queen) but imma still use it, just not bash it. Got my xmaxx down and started buying parts for it too. I’m about to to try to get my wife in on this hobby too. I have a brushed rustler that I don’t use because everything I have is brushless. I’m going to start a ground up rebuild on it with her even though it’s brand new. Customize it the way she wants and let her figure it out herself so she can learn to enjoy this hobby with me.

"Buying one car, then the next month buying 6 other cars..." GUILTY AS CHARGED. Got a little too excited right out of the gate and ended up with 10 cars in like 4 months, lol. I am glad to hear my tire obsession is not without some merit. A good set of tires can truly make all the difference.
